I took the 8 hour course this past Saturday December 12, 2012. I was very impressed by the way that Rick handled the class room information. Very informative. He is very detailed, yet not boring in his presentation. The firearms training that he does in the afternoon part, is excellent. He uses this time as a way to show the student how to protect and defend. I would recommend this course to anybody. Rick Ward is great.

The two are never a good mix anyway but was just curious. It all goes back to responsibility as does most things. I do have a beer with my meals but very seldom do I "drink". If I do it's at my home. I have a fast car, so probably more dangerous than a gun, I leave the beer at home :)

+ on the lawyer LOL ...sounds good to me...most people will never know you are carrying anyways...my wife and I both found ourselves checking people out to see if they were carrying (after the class) lol

I prefer to carry concealed. But, does this interpretation of open carry mean since I have a license, I cannot carry open? On the other hand, if carrying open, like we talked about in class (the grey area such as the holster) the gun can still be interpreted as being concealed. Just seems confusing to me. I'll just stick to concealed lol.

Question: If you get pulled over or go through a road block do you have to report immediately or at all that you are carrying a concealed weapon to the officer?
